That is the date of my last blog. Almost 2 years have gone and many events occurred in my life. I will enumerate them as far as I can remember and the things that I learned along the process.

I am now an I.T. Engineer in a Japanese construction firm building a  minerals' processing plant. If you ask me what's an I.T. Engineer is, I will tell you frankly that even me doesn't know its job description. Maybe it is a computer technician. A troubleshooter more or less, but often a troublemaker (base on experience maybe). I don't know what's an I.T. Engineer is, my company just gave me a vague description of it  I can understand them since my company is a construction company, they have a little know-how of what is an I.T. per se. If you ask me what I do, it's a little complicated. I do hardware servicing, in short, Computer Technician. I also do network protection and maintenance including file server - the works of a Network Engineer or a Systems Administrator. I also make contacts for different communication companies like internet service providers or telecommunication companies, reporting to them any problems with their service - a job of a liaison officer or a call center agent. I also buy different software and hardware requirements for staffs' PC, network and other equipments, calling for a bid, making cost comparisons and make purchase orders, a job description for a Purchaser. Make inventory of radio equipments, making sure that they are licensed properly and the user to have permits to use the radio, tasks under a radio operator or a radioman. In other words, I am everyone's slut. A Jack of All Trades, but a Master of None.

If I don't accept the tasks given to me even if it is not in lieu of my field, they will get mad and say, I don't know how to multi-task, or worse, I don't want to spread my horizon. And if I accept their tasks, my obligation as an I.T. Engineer will be less prioritized. Maintenance of PCs will be ignored, repairs will be delayed, monitoring and auditing of the software and equipments will be given less attention. So I am in a "Damn if you, damn if you don't" situation. Gues what I did?  Let damnation fall upon thee.

I said that I am going to enumerate the events in my life for the last 20 months since my last post, but I am just talking about my current job. For now, I will take a pause and my human body needs to rest. For tomorrow will be another D Day!
